increased to $5,500 per year?
-

Senior Citizen Real Estate Property Tax
Deferral Program

A qualified senior may defer from 1% to 100% of property taxes.
The State of Illinois then pays the taxes, with annual interest.
The deferred tax and interest do not become due until the death of the property owner
or the sale of the property. Required Forms IL-1017 and IL-1018 are available at
www.willcountytreasurer.com
under “Forms” and “Senior Citizens”.
