and music CDs may be checked out for three weeks. DVDs may be checked out for
one week. If an item is not in our collection, we may be able to request it
from another library for check out. There is a $0.25 per day fine for each overdue book, book on cassette
and CD, and music CDs. Late DVDs have an overdue fee of $2.00 a day. Items may
not be renewed if another patron has requested the item,
otherwise an item may be renewed only once. Audiovisual items may not be returned in the
OUTSIDE library book drops. There is a $2.00 fine for each item found returned in such a manner.
Online Databases and Resources
The Library District is pleased to provide to our
patrons access to some of the premiere searchable databases for locating
information. Click here to see what Databases are
available.
Wireless Internet Access
The Library District offers Wi-Fi wireless Internet access to its patrons!
We are the first in the area to offer this service, and are very excited about
its potential. Patrons who have laptops with wireless network cards can use
the libraries' networks for Internet access at either location. The
settings to use for your computer are available at the circulation desk of each
location.
Please contact the District's IT Coordinator for further information.
All renewable items may be
renewed online or over the phone if you would like. By phone, all you have
to do is call either library branch and they will gladly renew them for you. However, if the item is overdue, on a waiting list,
or has already been renewed once, you will not be able to renew the item. Overdue fines must be settled before any items are renewed.
